About the Program

  • This league is a 'non-contact' league where we aim to keep children safe and teach them the fundamental skills of lacrosse, without the traditional contact component. Please note that collisions or stick contact (slashes to wrists, etc.) can occur and while coaches will do their best to avoid these circumstances, they are a part of the game.

Format

  • Teams will have 1-hour floor time during the week for practice and skill development. Games, which are one hour in length, will follow on the weekend. The games will be played widthwise on the floor with foam barriers dividing the floor into 2 mini-floors.

Key Dates

  • Back to Lacrosse Weekend - Saturday, April 20, Aldershot Arena

  • Opening Weekend - April 27-28, Aldershot Arena

  • No Lacrosse Victoria Day Weekend (May 18-19)

  • Closing Weekend - June 21-23, Appleby Ice Centre
