BMLA Remembers Brent Hill
We are saddened to lose a long-time member of the Burlington lacrosse community.  On January 4 former Burlington minor player and coach Brent Hill passed away.

Brent grew up playing both field and box lacrosse in Burlington from a young age. He began volunteering and coaching when his children started playing in the early 2000's. He was a coach with our association, both field and box, both boys and girls, just short of two decades. Brent was an exuberant, passionate coach and volunteer who was dedicated to mentoring his players.

In 2010 Brent was awarded our Geoff Elmer "Love of the Game" award presented annually by the BMLA to a person volunteering their time and energy to promote and develop girl’s lacrosse.

In Brent's memory his family is partnering with the BMLA to establish a memorial scholarship fund in Brent's honour. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to this fund. Those wishing to donate can send an etransfer to [email protected] noting it is for the "Brent Hill Memorium Fund"

The BMLA passes on our condolences to Brent's friends and family.
