Ryan Greer
Bill (Ryan) Greer recently spent the four seasons as the Assistant Coach of the San Diego Seals in the NLL.  He has a long history of coaching, including leading the Six Nations Arrows Jr. A team to 2 Minto Cup Championships, and coached Team Canada’s U17 team.  Greer has won a number of Championships as a player, winning the WILC championship with Team Canada, 2 Mann Cup Championships with the Brampton Excelsiors, and a Minto Cup playing for the Whitby Warriors Jr. A team.  Greer played 15 seasons in the NLL winning a Championship with the Rochester Knighthawks in 2007 and played his final 5 seasons for the Toronto Rock.  Coach Greer has been coaching in the Burlington Minor Lacrosse Association for the past 7 years.  “After a number of successful seasons, we are really looking forward to putting a strong U13 team together and push for some big goals. We have a group of hard working and talented players in this age group and are looking forward to coming together as a team and compete in tournaments and the provincials.  My main coaching philosophy is to provide a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for players to develop a love and passion for the sport of lacrosse.  At the U13 age group my main goal is to provide an environment where players are pushed to new limits when it comes to skill development and lacrosse IQ. Learning the importance of being a great teammate and having a team first mentality is important to I still at a young age. Most importantly, our goal is for the players to develop friendships, and look forward to coming to lacrosse every day.”
