BMLA has made the difficult decision to cancel all House League Programs. Rep programs still on hold.
The pandemic is evolving and forcing government and public health authorities to continually adjust to new information. The BMLA needs to do the same.
Burlington Minor Lacrosse considers the safety and well being of our members and our community the number one priority. Therefore we are announcing the cancellation of our entire 2020 House League Program. If you were registered in our Box Lacrosse House League programs please check your email later tonight for further information.
As a non-profit organization, we do not have the financial resources to fully absorb our annual fixed costs, and unrecoverable fees levied on individual registrations. In order to continue providing sustainable minor lacrosse programming we'd kindly ask for those that can, to leave your fees with us until the 2021 season.
Anyone that leaves their fees with us will receive the amount as a credit to their 2021 registration(s) and will have their 2021 registration fee frozen at 2020 prices.
In order to mitigate some of the non-recoverable costs incurred by each registration, any refunds will have an administrative fee deducted based on their division.
All our Rep Programs are still on hold. OLA has suspended play until at least June 15th. We will know more closer to that date.
We are holding out hope to be able to offer our community some form of lacrosse sessions later in the summer if Return to Play is permitted. We will keep you posted with any information on this as it becomes available.
