Welcome to Blaze Girls Rep Field Lacrosse
Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse(OWFL)

Why Play Lacrosse?
Lacrosse is an Unmatched Sport!
Known as “the fastest sport on two feet,” lacrosse combines skills from many other sports, helping kids become versatile, confident athletes. It’s challenging, full of fun, and offers the chance to be part of a team, build friendships, and make lasting memories.

Girls Field Lacrosse – Everyone is Welcome!
The word “Rep” might sound intimidating, but new players should never feel afraid to try our program.
Since restarting the Girls Field program three seasons ago, many beginners have joined and loved it. In most cases, our Rep Team-2 players are placed at the entry level of competition, making it easy to get started and grow.
Why Try Field Lacrosse?
Field lacrosse is a fun, outdoor sport that emphasizes skills, teamwork, and strategy. Some of the benefits include:
- Outdoor play – enjoy fresh air and space to run
Larger field – teaches players to find open space and make smart plays
Stick skills & hand-eye coordination – different sticks and rules develop these essential skills
- Position-specific opportunities – as players get older, everyone can find a role, no matter their speed, size, or skill level
Opportunities as Players Grow
For those who want to take lacrosse further, field lacrosse offers pathways to higher levels:
- Local organizations offer travel tournaments in Canada and the US Many Canadian universities have field lacrosse programs
- Field lacrosse is popular in the US, with scholarship opportunities.
- The sport is played internationally and is being considered for the Olympics
Thinking about giving it a try? You should!
