U11 (2014, 2015)
Chris Dearden
Chris played field and box lacrosse for teams in St. Catharines, and began coaching while still in university. During that time, a field lacrosse team he coached won a provincial championship. He was proud to see players from that roster carry on with their lacrosse careers in the NCAA and NLL. Chris also played and coached hockey for many years, but his love of lacrosse was re-ignited after moving to Burlington with his family. Chris has coached several seasons of BMLA field lacrosse and assisted with coaching BMLA box lacrosse teams.
Chris strives to create an environment where players want to work hard, play as a team, learn a lot and have fun doing it. His measure of success is growth in individual technical skill, teamwork, and in the players’ love of the game.
