BMLA Updates & Open Board Positions
In October our Association's operating year started and with that we had a few changes to our Board. 

We would like to extend a sincere thanks to our outgoing board members for their dedication, time, and hard work.

Their contributions have helped strengthen our programs and support our athletes.

A big thank you to Courtney Smith, Meagan Burke and Sian Evans who supported our organization.


We are pleased to announce our board for the 2026 season:

BMLA is seeking new board members!


There are still several open board positions available. If you are interested in getting involved, or would like more information about how you can contribute, we would be happy to hear from you:

  • Director, House League
    • Ideal candidate has a player in houseleague, or is passionate in supporting a fun recreational program.
    • Time commitment realistically is what someone is willing to give, approximately 1-2 hours a week pre-season (January-March), 2-4+ hours a week in-season (April to June), less than an hour per week off-season (July-October).
    • Lacrosse experience isn't necessary!
  • Director, Fall Lacrosse
    • Ideal candidate has a player in our fall program, or is passionate in running minor sports programming.
    • Time commitment realistically is what someone is willing to give, less than an hour per week off-season (January-July), approximately 1-2 hours a week pre-season (August), 2-4 hours a week in-season (September-October).
    • Lacrosse experience isn't necessary!
