Burlington, Ontario
The Burlington Minor Lacrosse Association (BMLA) is proud to celebrate an outstanding showing at the 2025 Ontario Lacrosse Sixes Championships, where Burlington’s young athletes represented the Blaze name with pride, skill, and sportsmanship.
The Burlington Blaze Boys U9 team captured the 2025 Boys U9 C Championship, demonstrating incredible teamwork and determination throughout the tournament. The Blaze Girls U9 team also delivered a stellar performance, earning the Silver Medal in their division after an impressive series of games.

In addition to these podium finishes, Burlington was proudly represented by the Girls U11, U13, U17, and U19 teams, each showcasing the hard work and growth of the Blaze lacrosse program. Their participation highlights the continued expansion and strength of girls’ lacrosse within the BMLA community.
The Sixes format—introduced by World Lacrosse in 2018 and championed in Ontario by Ontario Lacrosse—is a fast-paced, compact version of the game designed to accelerate development and make lacrosse more accessible and exciting for players and fans alike. Combining speed, agility, and constant action, Sixes represents the sport’s future as it heads toward inclusion in the Olympic Games.
BMLA extends heartfelt congratulations to all athletes, coaches, and families who made this season a success. Your dedication, teamwork, and passion continue to drive the growth of lacrosse in Burlington.
Go Blaze!
