Boys Minor Lacrosse Championship Weekend

Sunday June 27 Skills Competition, Championship Games, Trophies, Pizza and Pop
All teams will play in a Round Robin Tournament-style playoff on Friday and Saturday. All teams will participate in the Skills Competition for their division on Sunday, followed by their divisions' Championship Game. After the Skills Competition, the teams that are not in the final game proceed to the Auditorium for pizza and pop and trophy presentation from their coaches, then stay to watch their divisions' Championship Game. The top 2 teams (from round robin games) play in the Championship Game, then have their medal presentations, then proceed to the Auditorium for pizza and pop.
The 3 Peanut Teams will play their "Championship Game" on Sunday at 12:30. They will play three 10 minute games and then proceed to the auditorium for pizza and juice and trophies.
Round Robin Games (all arenas):
Games will begin as described above. Teams will play 1 game on Friday night, 2 games on Saturday (see schedule below).
Skills Competition (Central Arena):
ALL TEAMS (except Peanut) PARTICIPATE ON SUNDAY AT THE SKILLS COMPETITION! The skills competition is a fun event with all players participating. The Skills include:
Hardest Shot (Radar Gun) - up to 5 players from each team compete
Most Accurate Shot - up to 5 players from each team compete
Relay Race (5 team members) - 5 players from each team
Best Goalie - volunteers from any team can compete
Best Shooter - up to 5 players from each team shoot on goalie
Each coach is to choose players (4 maximum) for each event. EVERYONE gets to participate in SOMETHING. Trophies are awarded for top player in each category.
Championship Games (Central Arena):
The Championship Game for each division will be played following their Skills Competition. Medal presentations for Champions and Finalists will be presented on the floor immediately following the game. Champions and Finalists will then proceed to the Auditorium for pizza and pop.
