The Burlington Chiefs Girls Midget Box Lacrosse Team had an amazing tournament at Centre Wellington held on June 11th-13th,2010 .


The Burlington Chiefs Girls Midget Box Lacrosse Team had an amazing tournament at Centre Wellington held on June 11th-13th,2010 .

The Chiefs beat out  Mississauga and rivals Whitby to advance to the championship game where they would play the fierce Peterborough Lakers.  The Chiefs held strong and played outstanding while winning the championship with a score of 3-1. Chauncey Mills led the way in the tournament with 7 points, followed by Marlee Maracle and Brianna Kenelly with 4 points, Meagan Miotto with 3 points, Erika Parente and Eryn Brown both got 2 points, and singles were notched by Lauren Patterson, and Miranda VonHanke.

A tremendous effort made by all the players and the Goalie, Meagan Miotto, who received the MVP Award .

Thanks to Head Coach Glenn Maracle, Ass't Coach Gary Brown and Trainer Len Krawesky as well as Manager Cindy Dubois.
