Recognizing Our Girls Field U19 Graduating Players
We have our first cohort of graduating players from Burlington Girls Field "2.0"!
With the girls field season now completed we want to take a moment to recognize the U19 girls field players who stepped on the field for the last time as players with the BMLA.
These women are relative newcomers to the BMLA field program, but we still want to recognize them. It is very easy to quit lacrosse, and easy to quit girls field lacrosse in Ontario. The time commitment is tough and there is overlap with the OLA girls box program. These girls have dedicated themselves to the sport, grown a love for it and deserve recognition for the hard work they've put in.
Sticks in the air for these girls (pictured left to right): Sofia Reynolds, Megan McGrath, and Jenna Cernjul.
Thank you to these young women for the dedication and commitment you have put to this sport, our club and our communities. We hope the friendships and relationships you developed while playing last a lifetime.
We know these women have opportunity to continue playing field lacrosse at a higher level, and play in our box program.
Best wishes from the BMLA!!!
